I walked into a Manteca, California Dollar Tree Store and it was hot in there. I asked why the air conditioner is not on and an employee replied that they can't control the temperature and that someone in New York has the control.

Headquartered in Chesapeake, Virginia, it is a Fortune 500 company and operates 15,115 stores throughout the 48 contiguous U.S. states and Canada.
